In a world of near ours, hubots (human robots) could easily be mistaken for humans they replace in domestic tasks. Cohabitation which creates complex relationships and contrasting emotions between love and hate, while some humanoid dream of emancipation.

Care for the elderly, help with homework, chores: these models are helpful and thank you for bondsmen. But their presence creates strange contrast among human emotions.
Acclaimed by some, they are attracting growing hostility in others, particularly as the boundary between living beings and machines fades, a fortiori when love is involved.

For their part, the hubots show more desire for independence. Their rebellion has already begun: Leo and Niska took the head of a group of freedmen
called "the children of David." When Mimi, one of them is kidnapped by traffickers, Leo, love it, goes looking for her.
Meanwhile, the acquisition of a first Hubot disrupts the lives of the Engman family, while the grandfather must renounce his own, failed, for a new model dedicated to geriatrics.
Engman neighbor, Roger, a foreman, helplessly replacement workers of his studio by humanoid legions, and soon, his wife leaves him for their Hubot. In this changing society, the tension mounts.
