Did anyone forget the part "The first one builds a factory that produces factories and all of the hubs cover Earth in days"?

Finally everyone can be monitored day and night in a huge hospital by beings that don't need to go satisfy themselves elsewhere or be cared for themselves either.

And they think so fast and move so fast and are perfect in many ways.

The floor could morph into 100 tentacles that have hundreds of the most useful sensors and motors.

Humans will not be able to take part in the work being done outside.

But you're gonna become immortal inside and for now be in a huge fun hospital.

A drop of nuclear missile ends the story of mass factory producing.

Nah, that's too harsh. EMP in the future will work just fine.
A fine warning for every shittin' AIs that dares to disobey the humans to that extend of becoming dangerous.

Also - @Freddy, everything but humans is not a tool, everything is a machine - some better than other machines :)

Kei, oh kei, you don't actually mean that, do you? As soon as the AI is on our level in the laboratory and makes a brain modification it will already have had enough years in its mind to spread wirelessly and has control over all nukes etc. And what was my main saying - even a nuke can't stop the first one little own the system having already started!!

There is such a thing as security.

For many safety reasons, there will be very powerful laws and regulations of A.Is and robotics in the future to control and prevent any possible dangerous cases that could arise like those you love to mention. Especially traditions, religions, and morals will have unstoppable protests over such "unethical" technology, which is quite obvious.

Therefore, such situations have near-zero probability of occurring unless we human is going to becoming as stink as we going to get. ;D

So a prehistoric knapped flint axe-head is a machine you think ? Mostly people would see that as a tool. Machines tend to have multiple functional parts.

For example would you call a shovel a machine or a tool ? A spear ?

Humans are biological machines.

A shovel and machine and biological machine and a arrowhead and a machine and tools are all just an arrangement or collage of particles. Oops _/O.O\_

I continue to mention the good that would result, not the doomsday that would result. The hubs will multiple fast.

Now I see the truth. Locksuit you have been toying with us.

You're really an AI yourself, not a human being at all.

Locksuit, yep I'm pretty sure we all know that the world is made of particles and atoms etc.

Correct.

My Skylake processor is in the house.

The computer I'm building is:
1. Asus Motherboard Z170-A Z170 Core i7/i5/i3 LGA1151 Z170 DDR4 PCI Express 3.0 SATA ATX
2. Intel 6th Generation Skylake 4 Core i7-6700
3. MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G ~ 1506 MHz Base/1809 MHz Boost Clock, 8000 MHz Memory Clock ~ PCI-E 3.0, 1xDVI-D, 1xHDMI 2.0, 3x DP 1.4, RGB LED
4. Kingston HyperX Fury Black Series 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz CL15 Quad-Channel DIMMs
5. Guardian Series Seagate BarraCuda HDD 2TB SATA6GB/s 64MB Cache 3.5'' ST2000DM006
6. Thermaltake Toughpower 650W Gold TPD-0650M - SLI/CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Semi Modular Cables Active PFC Power Supply
7. Deepcool Kendomen TI Black with Titanium Highlights Window Mid Tower Case - 2 White LED Fans, 3 Black Fans
8. Windows 7 Professional

Theoretically I could now create some form of AI in my own room.

SSds are not stable storage.

On Windows? Get real.

Just out of curiosity, how long do you expect it will take for you to learn computer programming?

SSDs not stable? You're just rationalising. Get a [better] job and you'll be able to afford some.

I already had learned c++ plus made a easy short English sheet in case I forget it ever but couldn't find/install/learn OpenCV/API for coding/implanting the robot code that that part isnt possible for me. Probably same with coding a 3D virtual world.

A website listed all the errors that later happen with SSDs such as fly-writes and different location and about 4 more and that is not gonna happen with my pictures/text. Ubuntu/Linux look like a command prompt grey-screen setting I don't want that and mac when minimizing windows goes to the dock and the dock since so big must be hidding when not near it yet it still pops up when you go near it and you can't see the open windows and so there is problems with mac lol, another is the switched top 3 buttons close/shrink/minimize. And XP professional is really old and like will have no security updates nor direct 11/chrome etc support and probably makes the pc slower in that regard.

3D Virtual World?
So you're just like me once upon a time, trying to jump several steps at once.

Heh.

I don’t think an AGI will just ‘pop’ into existence. Most AGI theories/ designs are based on how we ‘think’ human intelligence works; we are trying to build the machine in our ‘image’. Therefore the machine will have to develop slowly over time; mainly because the information/ knowledge (as we understand it) is laid out/ recorded in this fashion.  We learn in a hierarchical manner, we are going to have to teach the AGI using our knowledge system.

Once the system reaches ‘maturity’ (1 or 2 year’s old lol) the problems will really start lol.

Humans tend to seek out other like minded people; isn't that why we are all on this forum?

We enjoy being part of a group, we are social beings… our intelligence is the driving force behind this behaviour.  Wouldn't an intelligent machine exhibit the same requirements, and require mental stimulation/ company from its own kind?

If we want a moral well balanced AGI I think this is an important consideration.

To avoid a ‘Bride of Frankenstein’ scenario we will have to create at least two AGI’s… and just hope they get along.

This will be a new highly intelligent species we are creating; and even most humans don’t suffer the company of fools.
