What no… coquelicot, smaragdine, mikado, glaucous, wenge, fulvous or xanadu?  (I googled em!)

Even my better half can see trillions of shades of white… apparently.

Oh! I’ve painted the lounge; it was apple white but now it’s peach blossom smudge yoghurt with a hint of pink angel tears… white… it was only £40 a can… it was on offer…do you like it… wtf lol.

Cus Lock has other key words up his sleeves...AGIism, Languagistic, sequemptoralateral, kittylitterlickin.

I said it elsewhere today, but in other words & summary:

It's not just colors 'words', it's all the words man made up......red, blue, green.....home, door, knob, key, metal, hard, soft...

We made the ones that fit our need and cover the spectrum most greedily.

EVERY word is man-made. They were the very root of our (mankind) civilization. We (humans) had to assign a label or name to everything under the sun and those beyond it too! Otherwise, we'd have no communication no definitions, explanations no communication of any kind other than primitive grunting and pointing. Let's face it, those grunts and pointing can only cover so many words.;) And later, editing stone tablets with a chisel and rock can be such a drag!

So yes, a dictionary or thesaurus didn't fall from the sky. Humans made all the words whether Greek, Latin, Roman, Cyrillic, Chinese, etc., it doesn't matter...they are all man-made.

And we wonder why computers have such a problem chatting with humans...
