Isn't this a similar principle as those trains that 'float' on top of the rail-way?

I think you are right yes but I have never seen it demonstrated before.  I believe someone mentioned trains over on the Youtube comments..

Actually it’s not really the same thing as with trains, because of the superconductive state bought about from the extreme cold the magnetic field is locked.

On trains the filed isn’t locked and needs both repelling and attracting magnets to hold it stable or locked. 

Or something like that :D

Right on Datahopa! For more info search for "Maglev" or "Mag-lev" (magnetic levitation)...been around for years.

Another offshoot (no pun intended) is the Rail Gun which fires a projectile at great speeds and forces by using
magnet principles.
