Yes the circus is back in town, meaning all the current stir around Ray Kurzweil and his incredible ideas.  Mad, optomistic or just very clever ?

What is certain is that media interest in Kurzweil has it's own kind of Singularity - it just grows and grows.

Ray Kurzweil is a millionaire many times over due to his intellectual foresight, timing and inventions that have benefitted and helped shape mankind.

Some call him a fanatic because of his odd routine of exercise, pill taking, checkups, etc., but he wants to try to be here for his prediction of the coming singularity...the point in our near future when computers will be able to hold the sum of man's knowledge if not surpass it and to become self aware.

The man is certainly a genius in his own right but what of the coming singularity? Is Ray a crackpot, an idealist, a prophet or a charlitan?
You decide. I want to read his book before I make my decision.
