Clever toys (Siftables)
« on: February 13, 2009, 11:39:03 am »
Found this today, it's a new 'toy' but has features that will appeal widely.  It's hard to explain, but they are basically small interactive building blocks that can be used for word games, to make music and control different types of media.  There's a video there which shows how they work quite well.  It's pretty cool and I think they will probably catch on. Enjoy :

That is really cool my friend, I enjoy watching it. Actually, I am a collector of toys, and I really know that my toys are too many now and I want to add it more. I have some clever and new toys also I just bought it last week and I really like it.

Yeah I thought we might have seen these in the shops by now - but then I don't go to many toy shops.

If they ARE in toy stores I'd wager that their price is rather prohibitive OR they might only be resident to some of the more "upscale" stores that only cater to the more affluent.

My granddaughter seems to get quite a thrill from her little wooden blocks with the letters on them. No batteries!

As an afterthought, I wonder what type of batteries those devices use and how long the power lasts?  Toys for kids (young and old) need to have function, form, hold interest by being fun or interesting and hold power long than it holds their attention.

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
