Outlook is the ability to send mail delayed
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:05:33 pm »
How to find a system that sends the mail, offline, has programmed an early date? After the information only, Outlook, can be made from this type of delayed shipment, the date of sending a mail. Outlook Express or Outlook Professional, operated on that. But there's a problem, Outlook does not seem compatible with Vista or Windows7. Perhaps a forgotten information. But no service, as, Yahoo, WindowsLive, Msn, Aol Or, etc. are not equipped with this function. So maybe microsoft? Thank you for your light. ;)

Is this what you are looking for Claude ?

http://www.windowslive.co.uk/essentials/mail

Windows Live Mail, I use it and it works fine with Windows 7.  You can set it up to retrieve messages from Yahoo as well, which saves you having to log in to multiple accounts.  Basically it can be your central email client.

Freddy thank you very much for the link! Is what Windows Vista can run this is the crucial goal, with the option of sending mail program by the date of mailing. Example we are Thursday, February 22, 2012 if I want my message, or, send for Saturday, February 24, 2012, and the schedule for Saturday. So my message program Thursday, Saturday will be sent. So the schedule will be set and the date. Here is an example. The service for this program Vista is very tricky to restart. The concern, I have a lot of mail to send to different dates. But the interface of this program WindowsVistaMail, certainly a bored. Then he doitn be possible to find a similar program, the new version of Windows7. This is the only tool that allows you to program the date of dispatch of mail. Here the picture of the tool. This is a completely different window and integrate HP has. But I have a problem starting. I think your link may give me more light for my little problem. Freddy thank you very much. O0

Claude,

I use Outlook all the time with Windows 7 and my wife uses it with her Vista based computer.
She is using Outlook 2003 and I am using Outlook 2010 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, One Note included in MS OFfice 2010).

If it's a MS product you can bet it will work with Windows (in one flavor or another).
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Art, yes it's true. I will make two orientation. I think you're right. First I think I have checked in the composition of my HP tools, to determine the compatibility of Vista 2008 version, and whether any change has occurred for this program. Then, and this is true, I had not thought! It's my fault, and I also Microsoft Office, version 2007, but the option is update regularly. Also, Vista, and Outlook, are not integrated. But WindowsVistaMail, for sure, and microsoft. What I do not know is that if now, with new product, Microsoft may have made changes, the message of Vista. But to be sure. The best part is that I make a little control, either version Windows Vista, is still valid, or it has changed, for Windows7. This is verified. Thank you my friend. ;) O0

Believe it or not, I use both.

. Outlook Express for my "normal" boxes.

. Windows Live Mail for my SL characters (all Gmail).

As you know, it's important to separate RL and SL...  ;)

Gt40, thank you very much for your information, and all for the enrichment of your recommendations, my concern. Gmail has an option effective on shipments offset. But I use GMail, for relations of art, and for equipment, or purchases. Yes you are right Gt40, the information is correct, for the particular option, the broadcast day and offset by date. Thank you my friend. ;)

I finally find the answer to my problem! It was simply a mistake POP3. I created an existing account and my account switches to WINDOWSMAIL-VISTA. The advantage of sending massages, has different dates. Finally resolved. O0

Always configured as POP3:

'pop3.orange.fr'

or  'pop3.microsof.fr'

or 'pop3.windows.fr'        etc etc!
