Well today was the first day I ventured outside in a T-Shirt.  Roll on warm and sunny days :)

We've had 4cm of snow in the last 72 hours, and another storm is on the way, promising at least twice that. And I have a week to build a storage shed in the back yard, which is now a soupy bog.  :tickedoff: >:(

It only got up to 94° F here today. A clear day with bright sun.

I've now gained a new title from the missus of the house of "flower murderer". *smiles*

I've yet to figure out how to cut the grass and leave the wildflowers standing.

We had some warm weather over here, it was up in the mid-60s and I was able to take the dog outside again which he loved, he got so excited I had to give him time to settle down so I could put on his harness and leash. Yesterday we had a small snowstorm compared to the winter snowstorms.

Fine weather, no rain, no problem.

The radioactive cloud from Japan will be above me very soon.

We only need some wind to push it towards a country beside.  ::)

A wonderful spring day. Not a cloud in the sky, sunny, a very light wind, and a warm 109° F. Can't wait for summer.

Well, a few days ago it was about 70º f and today it was 35º and snowed!! (Only for a few minutes but snow nono-the-less!!)

Dave,

You know, Those concrete blocks do NOT get laid on their side like that?! Right? I know, they were laid that way to visually show the dimensions of the room or something like that! Tell me it ain't so!!  :o ;)

No, my Brother got impatient to get the shed completed, and he absolutely refuses to listen to me, so he's now in charge of the project, and I'm no longer involved. If I were to list all of the things he... Oh, where the $#^& is my blood pressure medication?!?!?!  :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

I won't say much about the building part beyond, that's not the way you lay block if you want strength. Since there is a blood pressure issue, I know I'm no the only one that's noticed that.

Even though the shed is only a "portable storage shelter", that's no reason at all for shoddy, substandard work. I apprenticed for several years under my Dad (who is likely swirling in his urn right now), who taught me that "any job worth doing is worth doing right". and this is just breaking my heart.

I'm halfway tempted to go pull all of those blocks out of place, and insist that he do the job over correctly, but that will just cause family issues that I don't need. :( Heck! The 2x6 framework he's made only has 2 3/8 inch nails holding it together (he picked up the wrong length nails, and refused to take them back), and is likely to fall apart with a good sneeze. His solution to the problem? "Let's just add more nails!"

Sorry all. Rant completed.

By the way...

6 inches in 3 hours, and the heavy part of the storm is still on it's way. Darn it! I want another CHRISTMAS!!!

I never had a brother and missed one.  I always figured we'd do things together and have so much fun.
I have a sister 3 years older who never a pal to me. She always either a boss or a mother to me. I liked the mothering better. Girls make terrible bosses. Some days both mom and sis would be bosses, i think their only joy in life was making mine miserable.  Their mothering days were better.
Today Sis lives two blocks from me and will boss now and then, but she still mothers a lot.  :)
