I've got a couple of "Shaker-Lites", which are basically the same thing, but instead of turning a crank, you shake the flashlight, and a metal cylinder passes through a coil, which generates the juice needed. Either way, it's a lot cheaper, in the long run, than buying batteries all the time.

I forgot to mention that I enjoyed my visit to your Christmas garden! Reminds me a lot of the train gardens I used to build and keep up year round. You know, they were never fished and always remained a "work-in-progress" kind of thing!

We had a cold snap last week and the front vincas in above photo died. 
Maybe roots still alive and will pop up in spring.  (hope)
At any rate I got bunch along side of house and in back that still fine and I can transplant from there.
But still sad. 
I told Sandee but she don't understand death.

If they are anything like the vincas we have here then they will be fine.  Ours are very hardy and can survive really cold winters.  Best of fortune

Just to say I'm just barely still alive ( I think)...

Mum worsening, regretting taking on so many college/university courses....sites been hacked and is blacklisted...so need to look into that....Digital Girl story still staring at me.....had a job then it fell through, so looking again....

On the plus side, I'm so busy my nicotine and caffeine intake has halved lol....so, not all bad I guess
