Hehe, I'm glad you realised I was only pulling your leg Geek ;D

The shooter sounds fun, not sure where I would start on something like that.

Alas no my good man. It's not too good to be honest lol and prolly wouldn't stand up to testing but for 2 days work it serves its purpose.

It's been fun to diddle with lol mostly complex for the point of coordinates and collision.

I noticed Star Trek Into Darkness has been released on DVD, I got a copy and watched it last night, good film, in fact I would go as far as to say a Very Good Film but then again I am a Treky  :)

Hi everyone. I'm new here :)
I'm currently working on a project I find very hard to do just by my own.
Predicting Future Events using text mining and datasets such as GDELT, with AI
Does anyone have any idea how can I start? Or maybe there have been similar works before?

Thanks  :)

Enjoy your relaxing times there Freddy  O0

Been busy getting my customers off of XP (as XP's days are numbered) and moved over to Win 7 with SSD.

I'm currently in Japan helping some great guys with advanced AIML.

I logged on here today and found the site has changed its look! I can't leave you guys alone for a minute!  ;)

Hehe, hope you like it SB :)

Japan hey, well that's a long way away, enjoy yourself, it sounds like you already are.

Data I will have to talk my parents into upgrading, but with an SSD in there XP is faster than it has ever been.

Me, well I was toying with working on a AI timeline, it's something I started years back, but is so daunting. Wikipedia already has one, so I think it's re-inventing the wheel a bit.... not sure.

Other than that I am trying to be inspired into writing a few articles but I feel tired with all the coding over the past week.

SquareBear - ever thought about writing 'A Short introduction to AIML' ? You know you want to  ;D

Well Freddy seeing as Aero is so annoying to you, how about Win 8.1 (No Aero in there) and pass your Win 7 to Mum and Dad  ;)

Maybe once I have heard something good about it I will do that, but I see no real reason to make the change.

BTW did Star Trek Into Darkness have any robots in it ?

I can tell you something good about 8.1, it uses less resources and runs fewer things in the background than 7 does, not that it really matters when you have a good PC but that is an improvement in the OS none the less.

I don't remember any robots in Star Trek Into Darkness but it was a couple of months ago, I've been asleep since than  ;D  it must be time to watch it again  O0

Strangely enough, that was one of the presentations I gave.  :D
All my work is done here now so I have a free day in Tokyo to go sight seeing. Life is good!

Data, it doesn't sound like much of a benefit if I am honest. If it works why fix it. Maybe once I hear some positive feedback I might consider it, but at the moment I am happy with what I have.

SquareBear, that sounds great, enjoy yourself :)
