Hi folks. This is another drive by link dropping  ;D

I've been working on a game that is derived from an old 80s title called The Lords of Midnight. My game is called Wars of Midnight.

How is everyone doing? I've seen a few videos of GPT-3 bots talking to each other lately, reminds me of how we got ALICE to talk to UltraHAL many years ago now.

in your example program for cogprotolab would n't it be easier to say all things have mass except light and forces. instead of trying to list everything that has mass.
i do that with my chatbot.

I'm doing now the Ray Kurzweil thing now, kind of. I calculated all my foods for a day, to make sure I get exactly the right amounts, so that I can extend my lifespan more plus be healthy. I'll need to do blood tests at home later to make sure, also. Here it is below. What do you think? I'm almost done my foods, I had to add walnuts, almonds next.

-------------------------------------------

Go look at all your food labels and make sure you meet all the below in total for a day's intake. Here is a pretty accurate table I made from a few sources and has my food plan, same plan for every day. A variety of foods is better, that can be achieved during the day's plan instead of eating a different thing the next day. Most my foods seem to follow the food pyramid, seem very tasty to me, don't "feel" potent or overly sugary (chicken strips are greasy, feels like a giveaway, like burnt thing, I avoid burnt food), some are common around the world like bread, most are general purpose and have most of what you need, and I have already mostly been living off this for all my life, I'm 26 and hopefully can stop any more frozen fries and nuggets, sometimes I have a few and only half a root beer soda with only the chicken strips, and sometimes, a hotdog or half of one:

I found my calcium was at the upper limit of 2,500mg a day, with 8 cups+ a day of 2% milk, LOL. My sugar was like 180g a day, and carb high. My saturated fat was high, I think 22 or 24 or something. And lacked vitamin e almost totally I think and biotin mostly if I recall.

You may need to open this widescreen to view properly. I am thinking of maybe swapping waffles for pancakes, not sure, I wish they humans used safer ingredients. I know, my food plan may still seem rather, floppy!! :( ? But I get my nutrients levels where should be, mostly now at least.

Just thinking about the latest Lock's posts showing NN image compression, and thought of this: the best algorithm would compress any size image to just one pixel, and then successfully decompress it back to any size, right?  ;D

Haha, Wait, where did I mention image compression? Wasn't my last post about Google's Palette? It colorizes, extends/fills, and I guess you could call it super-resolution since it fixes those weird jpg messed up images (I'm sure they could do SR anyway even if wasn't it).

An AI can yes super-resolution an image from (well maybe not 1 pixel exactly in a given implementation) a pixel or say 20 pixels, just it would lose info if went to 1 pixel. The adding of details can be inferred like the cat probably has a tail, but the image still only gives you so much information. The real thing to think about actually is how much true info can be inferred from the image. Bigger images and more static objects can be known to have a lot more data that comes with it and more likely so. Still limited to the original image though. Unless you reverse time and calculate all particles in the universe to fetch the rest of the image??? :P

Also, if anything, I don't think there is much you can do with anything small ! So, 1 pixel, you won't get much out of (though it can grow it no problem sure), and if your AI model is small, neither will you get much out of a small image of 50 pixels. It's all about bigger systems then...Perhaps.

Because if your AI is really good at predicting the rest of an image, then it might be able to give you almost exactly what is around the image. It really does seem to get better the more data it uses to train, so this might be some proof then you can get there close. The better, the more info it gives you. So, bigger = more info. And bigger input pic = more info too. Big gives more. Big does more. Big. Start small go big.

Whoops I seemed to somehow believe Ray doesn't eat real food, it seems he does I think. He takes many pills they say and seem to be to boost his brain n stuff but eats real food hmm....I think the supplements are mostly of partially a way to help only.

Most vitamin supplements are just snake oil and taking them in the belief that they replace or improve on real food is doing you more harm than good. There is no substitute for eating a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables every day. However there are two vitamin supplements that can help. Taking Vitamin D every day will improve your energy levels and alertness, as well as improving your general health and immunity, especially if you don't get outside in the fresh air and sunshine much. Taking Vitamin C (plus Zinc) if you are starting to feel unwell will help you recover faster. If you're eating enough fresh fruit and vegetables then taking Vitamin C supplements every day is actually a waste.

Agree, I would never take any supplements like that unless he somehow is on his last string anyway or is really sure. I only take now 300mg of omega3 from a mini fish oil pill a day, because my milk is 1% now and I hate fish. The walnuts give me my omega 6, and some omega 3, but most my ALA omega 3. I don't seem to be getting much omega from other frodds anywhere other than those. My omega ratio 6<>3 is gonna be like 1:4 LOL.

It is a lot of fun, I'm really enjoying it. It's helped me improve my C# skills too. I've got a lot done since I posted here. I have the battle algorithm working and I can move around the map and enemies will home in on me, just to mention a couple of things.

I was never that great at maths back then, but it has improved over the years. The programming skills were definitely well seated from doing computer courses way back then. I've learnt a lot more myself since, I think school and college only touched the surface really, but I do appreciate it :)

Oh if anyone attempts to use that nutrition table I made, I just finished reading Ray Kurzweil's book form 2009 Transcend, so I just made it slightly better. Current one is now outdated.

Hi folks, this is another shameless drive-by link drop!

I'm making Lovecraftian games now: https://moonstruckgames.uk

Currently working on the first adventure. It's based on Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu RPG Rule Set and I will be making free to play solo adventures.

I'm also thinking of resurrecting my ElfScript project to do some parser based games too.

 :stirthepot:

Anyway, thanks for reading and well wishes to you all :)
