You Should take some action (or not).

People have been warned to disable or remove Java from their computers due to a serious flaw that lets potential identity thieves and other pry into / through your computer's data.

Oracle, Java's developer, tried to put together a "fix" or patch over the weekend, which to me seems like nothing more than a bandage on a broken leg.

Read for yourselves and do what you feel is necessary:

When you hear of something like this it's probably best to uninstall Java from your machine, I don't even run it on mine because it doesn't get along with IE 10 very well in Win 8. MS has never really got on with Oracle.

It will not effect Dreams or Datahopa as neither of the sites use Oracle Java.

Thanks for the heads up Art  O0

Thinking back there has been a few vulnerabilities in Java over the last few years, now when I build PC's for people I don't install it any more and I am also warning them not to install it later.

Since I have had win 8 and no Java I can't say that I have visited one site that needed it either, it would seem site owners are backing away from Java.

Not to be confused with Javascript which is not the same thing and is still being used.
