Mark Chavez did something similar (on clone3d.net, with 2 or 3 bots, dialoguing on the same computer through the Pandorabots server). Of course he had written the linking routine.

Your experiment, using loudspeakers and microphones is very interesting. BTW, I guess it's also possible with 2 Hals or 2 Niroshas. In all cases, always funny to see and hear 2 bots chatting together.
