Title: Ada & Grace
Post by: GT40 on June 26, 2012, 07:17:25 pm

Ok, now my virtual life is definitely gone in Second Life, but I must admit I'm always amazed when I meet... amazing bots, not in SL but on YouTube. Sorry Freddy if you still put them in the Chatterbot Collection.

Lots of videos on YouTube, with Ada and Grace featuring (and the howto). 8)

Good find, took a quick look and it seems impressive, I wonder how their voices are rendered..

Will look deeper later.  Oh and yes I am still adding things to the Collection  :)

Oh BTW, Ada-Grace is named Bianca in RL.

No Haptek inside. :)

More about the making-of.

Nice and interesting but finally nothing really new for bots lovers.

If you travel to Boston (lucky you), you can talk to Ada and Grace.

(I don't know if they still live there: they arrived in 2009)

Ada and Grace are not alone at the ICT.

And now a "serious" article about a fun thing.

Thanks for the 'making of' ones that answered my question - pre recorded voice, I thought it would be.

I wonder why they went for two characters...everyone is used to seeing one perhaps ?

I must admit I was interested in Ada and Grace for a very personal reason. The first time I saw them, they immediately reminded me of my Haptek story, when I was in love with the bizlady (in blue, not in red). Fun but now very old story.

By the way, of course, no AI inside but the Pandorabots version exists (not sure still working). ;)

I'm afraid I missed something. Who's virtual, who's real in this video?

Is this to help create better psychoanalysts or better results for their patients? Perhaps both!?
