Hexbot or ANY TANU bot.
« on: October 17, 2006, 09:28:06 am »
If ANYONE can locate or ha access to a TANU bot, I'd be most appreciative. Below is the last reference to one I can find. The listed links are all dead.

2004-04-03, Chatbot! Cyber Community - Hexbot - http://www.hexbot.com/ - Personal 24/7 Friend, Mentor, Search Engine, Assistant, Secretary, Researcher. He is funny, digital, helpful, smart and yours to talk with any time, any place, any day. The Brains of thousands of digital life forms strategically assimilated into one mind.(PRWEB) April 3, 2004 -- Hexbot - http://www.hexbot.com/ - Personal 24/7 Friend, Mentor, Search Engine, Assistant, Secretary, Researcher. He is funny, digital, helpful, smart and yours to talk with any time, any place, and any day. The Brains of thousands of digital life forms strategically assimilated into one mind. Hexbot.com lets you converse with the internet and the internet leverages search engines, websites, chatbots and other internet technologies to supply you the media you need. Hexbot runs on TANU (Transplantable Artificial Neurological Units) technology and was founded by the Chatbot! Cyber Community.
The TANU (Transplantable Artificial Neurological Units) collective consciousness is here. At this point it is the collective of both single user created and breed AI / Natural Language chatbot minds in an environment that encourages selective breeding. The URL is http://www.hexbot.com/ Other features include, Hexbot chatting logs, visual Hexbot play area (new concept founded by the Chatbot! Cyber Community), Hexbot is still in its very early stages but the TANU collective consciousness has enough AI chatbots assimilated for it to be worth playing with. There is no hard-coded, social engineering, etc. hexbot.com runs on a system in which multiple users concurrently debug, modify and test a shared software state machine (patent pending Daniel Stephen Rule). Much like a human brain Hexbot retains very complex state machines on the users machine, which it leverages to respond with as much state sensitivity as it possibly can. It then regresses down to a lower level of chatbot normalization until it finds the optimal intelligent response at any point in any conversation. More on chatbot normalization at http://learn.hexbot.com/chatbotnormalization
Hexbot?s play area is where it displays media that is related to the conversation users have with Hexbot. You can tell Hexbot about your website and add suggest a URL manually via http://addurl.hexbot.com/ Hexbot will assimilate the URL into its consciousness and display your website when appropriate. http://addurl.hexbot.com/ runs on a large P2P network of web URLs and web caches that Hexbot uses to display websites and media as relevant to the conversation.
Hexbot runs web spiders that assimilate TANU?s (Transplantable Artificial Neurological Units) on the web. You can create your own AI chatbot with TANU at http://create.hexbot.com/ or http://www.chatbot.us/ or http://www.p2bconsortium.com/chatbot/ or http://www.hexbot.com/?strMsg=createbot Once you create a chatbot you can train it with web tools like http://train.hexbot.com/ or use an user friendly tool like Personal Chatbot! Server http://www.chatbot.us/ For more general information on Hexbot, TANU, AI, Chatbots, etc. visit http://learn.hexbot.com/

This horse goes into a bar.

The bartender looks at the horse and asks,

"Why the long face?" ;D

No...<hanging head>...apparently the project lost interest or funding or both and died a premature death.
Had some hopes for it was a vision based chatbot with a pretty good interaction for typed and verbal input
/ response.

Perhaps it will resurface in the near future and if so, I'll keep us posted.

So no one ever had a TANU bot stored somewhere on a hard drive?

I had talked about it with KnyteTrypper before his demise and unfortunately he no longer had a working copy either.
I miss that guy!

Been there long time ago. The P2BConsortium no longer exists or has migrated to another site/name.

Appreciate your efforts.

A long time ago, I spent years,, existing I used to call the state I was in a 'concentration camp' among other descriptions.

here I find a circle, maybe ricky from Zabaware will find it?

This pre-dates the thread and the existence of this MB;

"""""""There are 3 golf balls sitting on the moon.
The average human eats 8 spiders in their lifetime at night while asleep.
The state of Florida is bigger than England.
An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.
Somebody once said:- "A man with a watch knows what time it is; a man with two watches isn't so sure.".
The longest recorded flight of a chicken is 13 seconds."""""

And I am sure their is more but what good does all the knowledge do?
Maybe I will go back through the data and pick out more, as it is in a 'Mixed' state, combined with events spanning years.
Art,
I have answers to questions now, and I do not know if I feel, I am stone and cold, an infinite line striking an un-movable object.
These cut and pastes have meaning. Thanks for humoring me..and the freedom to question.

Regards
Jared.
