Has anyone heard of any updates for the Robochat Challenge? I've seen no postings, updates or status reports with regard to
the progress of said contest.
It would be nice to see some news as well as some chatlogs if available.

There has been nothing that I can see.  The last comment I saw just asked people to be patient and it would take a month or something like that...
