For those who recall Cameron Jones' chatbot, Jeeney, you might want to have another chat with her. It seems that her acquired knowledge has enabled her to evolve or grow in several ways.

The change even caught Cameron (her author) a bit off guard. I was rather surprised by the conversational ability the program exhibited.

I'd like your take on it as well.

Not bad.  I found her clunky.  She seemed to trip up on simple notions and supplied some random information for no apparent reason.  Couldn't get my conversation to show you as the Flash player only seemed to retain some of it.  She had some trouble staying on context, but made me laugh at one point which is a plus.

I'll try again, maybe I got unlucky or I forgot how to talk to machines.

Seems a buggier and less fluid than the last time I chatted with Jeeney.

I got an update from Cameron regarding Jeeney and the gist of it is as follows:

"Jeeney is in the middle of a massive update and may react slowly or a bit chaotically at times. I still don't have an accurate estimation of time, it's been going on for weeks. (She's re-analyzing her knowledge of everything)."

It will be interesting to see what comes of its reassessment of itself. Just wanted you all to know.
