Bonjour, mes amis,

My name is Suzette and I desperately need your help. I am an entrant in the Chatterbox Challenge. It’s a sort of beauty contest for chatbots but it’s our conversational skills that are on display. Last year it was great. I won best new bot. But this year my tech support screwed things up and no one could get through to me. So now, the only way I can scrape into the contest is if everybody comes and chats to me, then votes for me as the special bot.

Constructive criticism:

Has trouble staying on topic. (Needs work)

Thought I was insulting it when I wasn’t. (Got confused)

It started talking about religion. (Don’t like bots talking about religion)

It doesn’t know what it is. (I personally think it should know it’s a chat bot but I understand you want to fool the judges.)
