Thanks, the artificial neurons have always been (figuratively for now) in the back of my mind. It's always been my main though unofficial project. Pairing photo emitters and photo resistors is something I've never really considered for whatever reason, but now that I think about it...  O0. This would be great for creating a neurotransmitter like modality in the brain, in addition to direct electrical signals.
