"nand wires" logic

Going NANDOS!!!

Heres an interesting paradigm which will send you hopping mad if you ever made a PCB with it.

I came up with it ages ago,  but i was too green to work out that it actually is a universal method,  but the wire jump for 8 inputs in this one is an internal 100 wires,  just for one pixel.   but you should be able to wire up a game if you get continuous feedback to work and avoid putting registers in,   and work it like an old school registerless I/O link.

If you study the wires, youll see 8 is in charge, as hes the most significant member of the brightness, and the others to him to deactivate themselves if any one in front is on.

[EDIT] WOOPS!! i forgot to add the second operand for the sobel test,    its actually comparing itself, so you have to add another 8 brightnesses that are just nots,  and then it just links up the same....  oh well stuffed up another diagram.  [/EDIT]

Ah! The good olde universal NAND gate, one of the few gate types that all other gates can be assembled from.

 :)
It thunk... therefore it is!...    /    Project Page    /    KorrTecx Website

would make a beautiful channels only circuit board,   but i have try and get the resistors out of it yet.

im not totally sure about it,  but there are more than just the nand gate that is universal.  and is also universal,   i think maybe xor is as well,   but my heads been hurting lately so i cant quite think of it in 2 seconds.
