I call this a "repeating marx generator" And I reinvented it without even knowing the name of it. I know even another version which is half crossed transformer/amplifier, which actually adds more watts, like a transistor.
Ok right, this thing can be charged up with a low voltage power supply, put out a lightning bolt after a delay, re-catch it in a capacitor, convert from series to parallel, and then back to series again, to blast another lightning bolt, using the last lightning bolt as power.
Its more herrific than your average transformer, in the fact it packs the noise of lightning, with the spark itself, because its packing alot more amps/current.
It would blow your body to parts, if it hit you, and god didn't intervene.
Because it reuses its energy, it runs on alot less power, possibly a smaller one could run on a simple 9v battery and put out some good sparkage still. (But alot more cracklier! the zaps would be quite herrific to your ears.)
Definitely dont try this without good reason to, its highly dangerous.

but does it work??? thats the question!

Constant current isolator circuit. (tested and working. no transistor required.)

using that system, here is the ring oscillator again. (christmas lights.) looking quite technical.

Thanks Ivy!

So I think this amp is working, I could be wrong, I have to proove it by finishing the oscillator, and thats pretty much proof!!!
