A favour to ask
« on: August 18, 2010, 01:28:27 am »
Hello all,

I wonder if you can help me on something. I would appreciate any comments/feedback/etc on the posts of my blog. I believe that I have included topics that are of interest to anybody and I would really much appreciate your input.

Let me know what you think

I checked it out, a professional looking blog with a lot of interesting information, it’s sure to get some attention.

Forgive me but I was drawn to the spinning globe showing the visitors to your page, I liked that so much that I have put one on my site.

Thanks wgb14 and good luck.  :)

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog. Yes I know the spinning globe is good. The information in there is very research-orineted but if we really ever want to see real applications of virtual humans we need to go towards that direction. Next week I have a meeting with the owners of existor (the creators of cleverbot) to discuss ideas on how we can integrate user research into their development efforts.

I have been looking for a job for a couple of months in London with very bad experiences.  Honestly I met people that work like AIML (pattern-based). If you would tell me the correct patterns they would reply, if not they would say something most propably irelevant. For these people AI has already surpas human intelligence

I will proapbly go back to the University and continue working with existor. Once we build enough momentum, others will follow....

Looks really nice and professional to me.  I didn't have enough time at the moment to take a long read, but I will definitely be going back.

The theme/look of the blog is very nice and easy on the eyes too.

Was is the QRCODE thingy and what does that do ?

Thanks for your kind words. Feel free to leave your comments on my posts. The QR-CODE is the URL of my blog. If you have a QR-CODE reader on your phone try to take a picture to see what happens. In Asia they use qr-codes almost for everything

Hi wgb14,

Nice blog. Looks very professional :-) You can think of buying a domain name for the site.
Can death be sleep, when life is but a dream,
And scenes of bliss pass as a phantom by?
The transient pleasures as a vision seem,
And yet we think the greatest pain's to die.

~~John Keats(Lines from poem On Death)
