AI in Device Reliability
« on: April 03, 2013, 08:44:44 am »
Hey all,
I'm looking into past projects that might have had to do with oversight programs, that is, programs that oversee the functions of a device, anything from microwaves to cars, and monitors their code/output.  As it monitors the device code, it translates it into English, thus giving the user the "reasoning" behind the device functions.
Might motive is that I've spoken with a professor about doing research into this type of program, and I've been working hard to transition from engineering to computer science/AI, but I'm having trouble locating any projects similar to this idea.

Any input into what I might search for exactly? I'd sure appreciate it! And let me know if I can clarify any of this... It is rather late here.

Carson
