I'm still an icloners
« on: July 20, 2017, 03:47:45 pm »
My dear friends, I am always in the passion for technology and 3D. Iclone is in its entirety I am really very accustomed by this program.
For some time, integration tts are much better, in 2017. I find the voice 'Gabriel' (French) almost a human voice !! Really amazing.
I learned movement creation by 1/5 second per motion. And the mimic for face 40 has 60 expression, for sadness, happy, angry, ecct. It's a lot of work and knowledge I like a lot.
The new page of Aidream's, is superb! I apologize very much for my absence, currently and personally, I have a lot of drama in my family and I am a little disturbed. I like to concentrate on a subject that I like, and currently with all these serious movement is not easy.
So I will come back soon with you, with more knowledge in animation technology.
I do not forget you believe it! I am on facebook now because just sharing artistic image and animals in adoption. But I prefer technology because since 2002 with valentine and other friends I do not forget the start of Zabaware super program of Mr. Medezka. But also Haptek, and a lot of program I tested.
We have an untenable heat here in the south of france, fire, and pollution!
I think I'll take vacancies in Greenland .. LOL!
Because I'm like an ice cream in a microwave oven.

I am soon with you my friends. ;)

Sincere friendship of Claude O0

Good evening my friend Freddy, for me too, it's superb to talk with my old friends! But I'm still Aidream's user, I have to build an interesting topic. I use new technology, for animation, and now the phases of the animation of the face, are completely similar to haptek. The iclone faces have evolved, and it almost looks like a real human. Of course personalized characters, for children are more traditional. I use iclone characters as true journalists, they have credibility, for people. A lady on youtube, believe some of the character are real! LOL! She says that, the reporter has beautiful blue eyes! She does not see this, it is a character, because I use the light effect, which gives a realistic look, that sometimes people think, they are true.  ;)

I wonder if "1/5 second" may be faster than the refresh rate of the human eye?
My flat laptop screen has only fifty hertz (cycles per second), I think.
Please return soon to explain more about "1/5 second" to me.
Thank you friend, for your 3D video contributions here.

@ 8Pla.Net  and others - To quote from this article first: Human vision does not have properties like frame rate, latency, resolution, et al.

https://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/3348/can-the-human-eye-distinguish-frame-rates-above-60-hz

You'd be hard pressed to get 60fps out of the human eye.

In laboratory conditions, it takes around 150 ms for neurons in the visual system to begin to recognize and categorize a newly appearing visual input.

However, this little factoid is not the frame rate specification for human vision.

If real-world perception were to follow this same pattern, then for a considerable time after each saccade we would still be perceiving the old retinal input, rather than the information currently on the retina. In fact, we should have to wait around 150 ms to ‘see’ what is in front of our eyes after each saccade, by which time the oculomotor system has already begun to choose the next saccadic target.

That would suck.

Fortunately, the human eye is more than a camera* with fat pipe connection to the brain.

While holding a pen, for example, the sensory input is limited to the receptors of a few fingers, leaving the majority of the surface of the pen outside of our direct sensory range. Nonetheless, we perceive a complete object, not a pen with holes where our fingers do not touch. Similarly, our visual system actively perceives the world by pointing the fovea, the area of the retina where resolution is best, towards a single part of the scene at a time.

Human vision does not have properties like frame rate, latency, resolution, et al.

Visual constancy can also be viewed as a temporal phenomenon: objects appear to be continuously present over time. Yet the duration of external events are typically longer than that of a single sensory ‘sample’ such as a fixation. Although movements of the eyes, head and body disrupt our steady access to these objects and events, the stream of consciousness continues smoothly across these sensory disruptions. This is an amazing feat, given that each saccadic eye movement creates a temporal disruption in the flow of information from the retina to higher perceptual areas. The motor smear on the retina during the saccade is suppressed, making us largely unaware of the retinal stimulation during this time period. In addition, each saccade requires the visual system to ‘re-perceive’ the information from a new fixation.

Time is relative...

...perceived time seems to shift forward, towards the beginning of the new fixation, essentially compressing the time immediately before and during the saccadic eye movement. One possible interpretation is that space and time are inextricably linked in the brain, with the pattern of strange perceptual effects reported for stimuli flashed around the time of saccades reflecting a spatio-temporal transformation between fixations.

The Bottom Line...

Human vision is not bound by frame rate.

Good points but this is their take.
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

That's funny because my number for our sensory input is 4ps. It's from a test I made to determine it. The 4 visual (even somatosensory/auditory) images (yes pixels) have blur.

Chattering your teeth 32ps must be from auto reflex. Talking, well, like I said, we have only a few ideas ps, like, 4, so, all those words are stringed out from the network ex. "you are so so pretty" - 1 recognition/1 output. Editing text is different of course, this is talking-on-the-spot no touch-ups.
