FORTUNE TELLER

Ask the fortune teller to decide your fate... chatbot.altervista.org/fortuneteller

Ask questions like:

Will I find true love?

Are my relationships strong?

Should I follow my dreams?

Am I going achieve my goals?

Can you give me advice?

Yes, Familiar interface.

Why not provide a more detailed group of patterned responses instead of just the "Black 8 Ball" Yes or No answers? It would make things more interesting, especially being a fortune teller.

I noticed her name is also Jess. Odd.

It would really be nice if you could have the fortune teller make movements After the user's question is asked, as if she's searching in her crystal ball for an answer. Just a thought.

Otherwise, there are possibilities.

Thanks for the code patch, Art...

Code
var botname = "Gypsy";

Great feedback!

Art suggested, "Why not provide a more detailed group of patterned responses"

Can you provide some more details?   I just finished adding a word censor.

Thanks again Art,

The number of responses is now about a dozen times greater.

"It would really be nice if you could have the fortune teller make movements After the user's question is asked, as if she's searching in her crystal ball for an answer. Just a thought.", Art suggested.

Good thinking.  I did that with her face, but not her hands.   Maybe Freddy will share an advanced 3D avatar of a gypsy.

It would be interesting if you could explore her image movements from your PHP side.

I can Right-Click and Deselect the Loop function. Then I select Play and she completes one cycle with her hands.

Even more interesting was when I selected the Speed feature then Slow and Played it. Her hands did a very slow and determined circle around the sphere that looked pretty convincing.

Just some thoughts.

More good ideas, Art.  Thanks!

I added a "HELLO, HI, HOW ARE YOU" pattern matching.

My inspiration is an old fashioned fortune teller effect.

That was pretty cool and a lot of nice rigging of her animatronic wiring and coordination.
She was a lot better than some of those that used to show up at sideshows, carnivals and other fairs and such.

Nice find!
