Title: Github is now free for teams
Post by: infurl on April 15, 2020, 12:09:15 am
https://github.com/pricing (https://github.com/pricing)

Starting today, github is free for teams. This means that you can now have unlimited private repositories (up to 500MB) and collaborators for free. Previously you could only use github for free if you allowed your code to be viewed and used by anybody. There are still plenty of attractive low-cost paid options available if you need even more capacity.

Who else is using github already?

I do, but I only find it useful to share things, so I won't use private repos.
Sometimes it feels like the whole world is storing code in Github. One day, an ASI will swallow it all at once.
