Title: I’ve created an AI-powered DIY Batmobile™ that teaches you about electronics and
Post by: albertgajsak on October 29, 2021, 01:51:42 pm
Hi everyone,

My name is Albert, and I'm a DIY electronics enthusiast who also happens to be a long-time Batman fan. 🦇

I've always loved creating things with my own hands and I thought it would be cool to make a DIY Batmobile that can also drive autonomously using AI and Machine Learning!

So, that's exactly what I did! 😅 Seeing is believing: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/albertgajsak/circuitmess-batmobile?ref=895nrq (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/albertgajsak/circuitmess-batmobile?ref=895nrq)

I have received a lot of positive responses about this project, so I wanted to invite any AI enthusiast to join my Discord group where we brainstorm and throw around ideas on further improvements of Batmobile’s design/hardware/software - https://discord.gg/UZkp89eN4y (https://discord.gg/UZkp89eN4y)

The cool thing about it is that it’s not only fun to play with and build, it’s designed to teach you about electronics, engineering, and other STEM skills along the way. 📚🔧

Plus, it’s open-source, Arduino compatible, and hackable. 💻

I’ve spent over 20,000 development hours on this with my team but do you have any suggestions on what else I could implement?

Its amazing that youve put together a little product.   I think it does awesome stand stills.
I think you should make a quantum computer,  and get AGI to happen, for good or for bad maybe,  but just for the amusement of it.

I think this has got a little more STEAM punk punch to it (https://www.amazon.com/ELEGOO-Tracking-Ultrasonic-Intelligent-Educational/dp/B07KPZ8RSZ/ref=sr_1_21?dchild=1&keywords=vex%2Bkit&qid=1635559632&sr=8-21&th=1)

Of course this Mecanno Erector set (https://www.amazon.com/Meccano-Erector-Robotics-Innovation-Building/dp/B07NFRB9BD/ref=sr_1_23?crid=KH988HJLBG0E&dchild=1&keywords=erector+sets+for+boys+age+8-12+motorized&qid=1635559142&sprefix=Erector+set%2Caps%2C220&sr=8-23) expands the scope of the kit and what can be done with the imagination since it has tools to build components from stuff like wood, cardboard, and even metal. Pairing it with an UNO R3 kit opens up the universe.

Welcome to the forum Albert. I must say I've encountered a few people online over the years who have aspired to create a commercially viable robot and you are the first among these to have succeeded. From the looks of your kickstarter campaign you have already produced a whole string of wildly successful projects. As I am currently without a workshop I have been looking for a good kit to satisfy my robotics yearnings and the quality and capabilities of your project make it a leading contender.

You have got some pretty simple robotic yearnings, glad to see you can get them satisfied.   ::)
