@Snasci
I had a read of your wordpress articles, they're promising and were interesting to read. Ignore the rest that seems skeptical about your work! Once your work is ready, let it blow our head off!

I have no questions as you've captured my attention!
Keep it up! I am rooting for you!

Is snasci sorta like a global police app, knowledge service by 3D and text/voice interface, and emotional software/hardware buddies everywhere?

(Just a guess)

@kei10 A large number of the more vocal online accounts are trolls of one form or another.  This is big business, with billions at stake and that's to be expected.  Its funny too sometimes but ultimately, it doesn't achieve anything.  Scepticism is sometimes used to reduce the capital a company can generate, or to prevent key parties from investing.  That said, it won't work with an AGI, its too big for that approach to be functional in any capacity.  Too much money and too much to lose in it, to not take the risk.

Locksuit, check out our articles, it will be explained there over time.  Right now, you should know that Snasci is an Artificial General Intelligence built around a 6th generation programming language:

I read them all, my questions were just a guess...

Simply put, what will snasci do for me?

- Will there be robots actually doing work to save us from the pity planet?

- Will we have a sophisticated speaker to talk to and that organizes device relationship/etc and polices the web?

- Will there be some new internweb homebase unification or things on our screens to help us?

You have billions of money?. . .

Snasci is middlewear, no doubt it will be connected to all forms of robots from toys, to industrial systems.  Snasci will be on phones, tablets, desktops and available as a general UI for any type of device.  As middlewear, presentation of Snasci is mainly left to 3rd party companies.  Some will go for cartoon-like characters similar to Microsoft's clippy, others may push the envelope and go for a life-like rendering of a human.  In some scenarios, it may even be a simple text chat interface.

I don't really want to get into policing the web, leave that to the proper authorities.  Snasci will, however, dump spam, flame/click bait, false news, propaganda and other forms of nefarious content.  It will keep an eye out for four main classes of dangers; nuclear, chemical, biological and mass murder.  Other than that, nothing else.  I'm not going down the road of copyright enforcement and bugging people.  Its just not going to happen.

You don't need billions to develop something like Snasci, not even millions.  I've done this on a shoestring and Snasci is debt free as a company.  So, as long as I get the price point correct, I'll be in profit from practically day one.  That's when the billions come. :)

That clarifies thanks.

Yes all online should be fee, the work is already done. Would AI ask (itself) to pay for rights !?

OK...so it's been almost 6 months to the day. What, if anything has happened with the SNASCI project?

If anyone knows please update this for the rest of us who showed interest in this article.
Thanks!

Funny, I was wondering this the other day too. I recall from something I read on Chatbots.org that there wasn't much meat on the bone.

He stopped posting marketing cr*p to snasci.wordpress.com back in January.

Presumably, he had an epiphany. I'm guessing it was: ipse se nihil scire id unum sciat

Ray Kurzweil was somebody too until he got so scared of dying that he founded the Church of the Singularity. Now he's just a wacko. Rich people are scared of dying, sure, but that's why medical research is never short of donations. Bill Gates (may the gods bless him) bucked that trend by specifically giving money to research diseases that afflict the poor. If he keeps it up, he might be able to buy his soul back from the devil before it's too late.
