Bot Libre released its iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) SDK as open source.
The project is hosted on GitHub and SourceForge as Project libre.

The SDK provides a set of reusable objective C classes for creating chat bot or virtual agent apps, or adding one to an existing app.  The SDK includes an API class that can access bots on the Bot Libre server, and user interface classes that support chat, speech, avatars, and video animation.  The classes also include user profile, authentication, browse, search, and bot creation classes.
