There's 2 things. Being able to create any idea you have ex. code-er/OpenCV-er/etc pro. And having a invention.

If korrelan can code (it looks like he can use Assembly), yet has no "looke this guys" invention yet, then he isn't pouring with things Ready To Create. If I could use his tools I would easily code my instructions for impressive AI and get things rolling.    Just forget about it. Nvm Zero.

Notice no one here wants to join the group? There's no cooperation at all. Nobody asks me what I have ready, what it would do, and will just DO it. It's simple and easy. Just flip on my Blender program and add some lines of Python I'll explain to you, and it'll become alive.

Lock, people here have been asking you to Show us what you have practically since you came here and produced volumes of text, talking about how you solved AGI and the Brain, etc. but the reality is, well...you know what the reality of what you have really is...don't you.

You are a young man and with all this thinking you have done during the past year, have you even tried to learn how to write a program or select a programming language to study and ultimately create the code for your A.I. ideas to play out for real? The Group? We have a group...it's call the Forum. Like minded individuals with an interest in all things A. I. or else they wouldn't even be here, nor would you.

Something to think about before you start talking down to many of the people who have read you postings and who still interact with you as friends. Just a thought.
Be well....
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Well said.

You know, LOCKSUIT, Art is always so polite and stable... That's the way he does things. Korrelan laughs... well that's the way he does things. But I'm pretty sure that every programmer on this forum would be ready to guide you through the first steps, if you were asking them to. There's nothing wrong being a beginner. We all go through this, why wouldnt you as well?

Now, I wouldnt say that the Group is the same as the Forum, because the Group is a very specific idea of implementing something together through a democratic process. I don't know whether it's a good idea or not, but it's different from this very forum (may I say "our home"?) where we can do a lot more things than just "implementing democratically". We can learn, for instance. We can laugh. We can share. We can help.

 :'( beautiful  ;)

I love you all. I simply meant that I'd like to see more of a combining of our AI, and, that I could explain what I have now better and get someone here to write me up just a few lines of code. I'm already hiring, so, soon, yous will be really really really temped to help out :)

Well...watch.

In about 4 days I learned most of C++ and wrote a English Diary if ever forgot. Then to get it to control real robots I couldn't find online where to get the call names, which ones, etc, nor able to install OpenCV/etc.

Next up. Simulation is the way to go, not a real solidified billion dollar baby. I could learn Python fast. But then in Blender, compiler open, I need the call names for armatures/clocktime/etc, and that stuff is a hassle. You have to find plus read the Blender manual, and more. It's like you cannot learn it, it's like alien encryption at its finest, I'd rather lay floor like a dog then do such a puzzle...... And, then hire coders. As far as I'm aware, PL books explain the language fine, but, with simulation software like Blender, the call names used in the code are not explained well. There'll be like 22 armature call names, euler etc, and doesn't explain what they do, how to use in code.

Btw one copy of Zero's diary in English, another copy in original language for future translation ;P.

Are you forgetting to take your medication again? Or are you taking all of it at once?

I take medication too Ivan, so I know first hand how beneficial it is when you take the right amount. The problem is when we don't take the right amount, then strange and annoying behaviours are the result.

Thanks Keghn :). Infurl, I understand you, but please try to be more gentle. Some of us need it  :-[.

The Group, you say? I wouldn't mind having a sort of developer's Facebook, comments interwined by code alternations. I like the idea of democratic leadership, but I don't believe that the project should take strictly one course. I'd like to see different forks on every level of coding the project, from the top(s) to all the bottoms of source code structure. That way anyone could do anything, either to improve some fork in the structure, either to make completely new one. This is just an idea, not necessary good one.

I have to think about joining the Group.

P.S.
Boy this site got fast :D

Exactly. There won't be 1 guy's project defining everything.

Not until one of the fruit's seeds flourishes in the group, then all members will vote on a more straighter path.

Oh my god, your idea of forks is so goood, thanks a lot ivan.moony!

I was away too, it's funny how we both came back at the same time. I'm happy you're here.

Yes, we all need love. And pills. I usually pick the red pill, to stay in wonderland and see how deep the rabbit hole goez ;)

EDIT: The idea of forks goes well with the idea of RFDs freezing other RFDs. When a decision is freezing another one, an RFD can be made to fork the freezing one, so multiple path can be explored. Then I think every member should still vote for every RFD (no matter in which fork) because forks should always try to join again, as soon as possible, for example when one fork uses functionalities developed in another one. What do you say?

I was joking. My pills are not red. There's a big purple one, and three little orange ones. It's ok. :)
