Hello Everyone,
I am Chintala. I need your help in giving your opinions on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on humans.
My thesis statement is,
"The impact that artificial intelligence has on the lives of humans is for better because such inventions could provide massive benefits in efficiency and productivity helping humans in various fields such as in education, industries, military, medical fields etc.,"
Some of the questions I want to pose are,
Do you think Singularity will lead to the end of the human race?
Is AI threat to humans or helpful to humans?

Can you all please provide your ideas on this topic. It would be helpful for me on my research paper.

It seems to me you've already answered your own questions by way of your Poll question.

Your post asks, "If AI is a threat to humans or helpful to humans?", yet your polling question throws in a third choice...(it depends on how it is used.)

This is true for all things from baseball bats, guns, kitchen knives, cars, etc. Everything has a duality of purpose and it boils down to user intent or how it's used.

Regarding your Singularity inquiry...like most things that seem scary like the fearful Y2K scare that had people saying the world would shut down and all services would stop! Nope...didn't happen. Life goes on.
With the Singularity, life will continue to go on, it will just progress much differently from that point. End of humans? No...not unless we cause our own destruction. Hateful attitude, overreaction, jealousy, etc.
