A nice song II - The duet

As usual please refresh the page at the end of downloading.

Thanks again to alady for her amazing skins.  8) 8) 8)

Sorry for boring you with that totally useless little stuff, but I'm unable to do something else.  ;D

It's the end (for now!) of a very empirical experiment with stereo voices. 3 parts (played 5 times):

1- The left voice (original Elvis' voice)
2- The right voice (altered)
3- The duet

Please tell me if the duet doesn't work. I need to put a 0.2 sec shift between the 2 voices, and I'm quite sure it can be reduced with a faster PC. But maybe 0.2 isn't enough for some computers and that's why the duet can't work (empirical explanation, lol).  ::)

Thanks alady. Glad it works.

I promise it's the last time I play with Elvis.  ;D

Yes Elvis looks like he got sprayed with acid or something!  It all worked fine here, stereo worked well and to good effect.  The voices sounded fine to me too - what did you do to get the female voice?  All in all, another successful experiment.

Many thanks Freddy. Never sure how my little tries work on other computers.  :)

I play with sounds with Audacity, a really wonderful freeware. You can do what you want with it. Select the parts you need, change voices (not easy to avoid a Donald Duck voice, lol), then make stereo files. When I have exactly what I want, I put the files in People Putty and get stereo oggs with lipsync.

BTW, I chose "Love Me Tender" because the voice is not too much "parasited" by the music (nearly a a cappella song).  ;D

AAhhh, you are a very clever man.  I have used Audacity in the past but never knew it could do that with voices.  I will have to go back and have a look at it again, I did think it was a cool program though.
