The World's First Personal Robot

Have we had this one yet ?

Quote
It’s a new chapter in your relationship with technology. Something radically different from anything you’ve experienced. Something that is very personal, because personal robots are designed to live with people.

Your robot will instantly connect to all your connected devices, fitness trackers, locks, switches, outlets and thermostats. By applying advanced AI algorithms on top of all your connected devices, it will keep your home extremely secured. At the same time, it will trim off your energy bills significantly.

She needs a body.  I for one can't wait to hear people start to bitch about robots catching them doing things they should not be doing around the plant. Sooner or later they are going to be everywhere.
So sue me

It will take a while for robots to catch up with those monitored video surveillance cameras all over the planet!

Who's watching the watchers? ;)

I liked it up to the part where the robot was settling the child down to sleep reading a story. Surely, that's the parent's job?

No new tech, but a well polished amalgamation, I'd say. I like it. The only downside they don't show is dragging it up the stairs between the bedroom floor and living room/kitchen, and in your car to work...
And what I don't get is how come these techies think we're all constantly going to restaurants.
Did I mention I like it though?

They're so cheap you buy one for each major room or level in your house and since they're all connected like your cordless phones, there's always one nearby to assist you. They actually DO assist you right?

Put a dress on a "head on a stick"... interesting...;)

It's a good idea: You could put a coathanger on it for shoulders and use it as a clothing rack.

I want to make a parody video...

"Hey, I just renewed my service for the next five years which was a little expensive." said the robot. "Don't worry! Monday you start a second job I found for you online, and I let your parents know you want to move back in with them, since you're having some trouble affording your rent right now."
