It does if you get a robotic vacuum to help. I found this test of several vacs in different categories.

Get yourself a Wyze Cam or their Pan Cam.

For less than $20, you can stick one of them to the top of one of those robot vacuums and steer it around your house!

Better yet, just grab a couple of the cams and they will constantly track motion, with night vision, color and in 1080p!
Add extra memory for continuous recording or just use 12-second short video captures when motion is detected.
They are WiFi and can work from anywhere.
You just can't get better, cost-effective security than that! The one that does a pan and tilt is $29 USD which is still a bargain!

I can be in another state and see what's going on in my house, on my front porch or backyard or street. It can also provide two-way
sound (listen to voice or noise, etc.). I get an audible sound if it detects movement or motion so there is good peace of mind.

So maybe you don't really need a nice vacuum for security... Check out that cam. We really love ours!

Oh cool security!    That's where I want to be with my robo dogs,  maybe they can vacuum up all the trash as they monitor the joint and I get two jobs done in one hit.   Then I can work at the tip too in my cool space age junk truck.

If I can make my hoover dogs tell the difference between things decent enough,  I can get them to collect all the spare change on the ground and all the cigarette butts so I can go home with my little bag of goodies when my shifts over.

Lifetime warranty on the mug stopper!!!    In Australia we call it "built like a brick shithouse"  
Is that camera a wireless signal send?    "Tele-vision" ones are better, so you don't have suspect wires around the place.

I bet in the near future Boston Dynamics could have a robo-security company spinning out of them,  will be heaps of fun regardless!
