This site also caught my eye as being extremely innovative and at the forefront of factory / control robotics.

Nice video, I love watching these machines work - such precision and beautiful movement.

Was that last one mixing poison to use on his human boss  :o

No wonder all the jobs are gone in the USA, the robots can do it for just the cost to run them. If we would stop trying to improve and make things so much faster, we wouldn't be in the mess that we are in. Cool video though.

Jack,

Can you say, Old school? I thought you could!

If we had things your way, according to your disgruntled attitude, we'd all still be driving 1952 chevys with 3 on the column.

Come on...it took people to design, create, test, build, transport, write programs for, do maintenance / troubleshooting on, set up, adjust, oversee and manage the day to day operation of them. A lot of the jobs that you think got replaced, actually got reclassified and some even award new ones as a result.

There are no doubt lots of injuries and even lives saved as a result of robots doing repetitive, restrictive and even dangerous tasks instead of humans. Would you rather go into an abandonded building after the bad guys or would you prefer to let a robot do it? How about a mine field or how about the Mars probe? I'll bet you would have been a lot cheaper although I don't think you could have lasted several years like the two robots did.

Think back 20 or 30 years ago before we even had computers. Just look at the countless jobs created and robots were and are a part of that as well.

Jack...get used to it...they're here to stay and the majority of robots have helped humanity more than they have ever harmed us or our progress.

But hey...what do I know...?!

Wait!...I do know one thing...the only constant is change. ;)
