Post by: claude2 on December 23, 2011, 12:59:50 am
I'm currently working the face of ABBA. The photo was taken in 1976. I must make a correction pixel. It is under construction. But here is a first result. :)

The pixel of a photograph is a great study. The black and white are much stronger than the color. The colors include photos taken we can say from 1965 to 1979, are extremely fragile against time. There are software patches, but the best are the professional software.
In this work I still have much to do on the face of ABBA. Including the beard of Benny Andersson. And facial feature. Shadow, peculiarity, correction of facial wrinkles and facial shape, the shift of the eyes, mouth, nose correction, etc. .. And now a large part done, but much remains.

As you noticed on this work. This is a reframing of the face. 3D takes into account the shadow relief, and the peculiarities of the face. Remains to be removed, marks the transition from 3D. Especially in the dark contour traces appear, it is removed accurately traces. Especially not to damage the original pixels. A systematic shift causes pixel blur. A blur in 3D causes a highlight, it's bad. So it's very meticulous to do, but it is a pleasure to learn a 3D technology.

End of correction. I cleared the pixel dark due to the aging of photos. A beard has Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. The area worked over the cheeks and cropping of the texture. final result
