Title: Blender 3D Modeller - Releases
Post by: admin on March 08, 2007, 12:14:27 am
The new 2.43 version has been released with yet more improvements :

Quote
The 2.43 release could be nicked the "Multi" version; with multi-resolution Meshes, multi-level UV, multi-layer images and multi-pass rendering, to name some highlights.

Much appreciated are the new Mesh Sculpt and Retopo painting tools. Artists using cvs versions have created amazing models with it already. But seven months of development time have resulted in a giant list of features & improvement & fixes...

They've also redesigned the site and the help is as always, extensive.

Just found that Blender is now at version 2.44 with a release candidate for v2.45 being offered.  You can find it via the same link above.  The release candidate doesn't add any new features but fixes a few things.

Also I found this neat page which is new to me - it has an extensive run down of Blender's features, which handily enough saves me from having to describe it all to you, take a look:

This much power for free can't be bad  ;D

rosejay0918,
This is an old post to be dragging out, maybe to put a new twist on an old piece
of land from the 'Real Estate inventor'?
Maybe we should have Dr. Bashier have a look,, I could throw Oranges and he could
catch Apples, but then we would have to compare, and I do not always agree with his 'Zeal'
for explaining things that do not require any "Let them eat cake!"
