Saw this? posted on the HAL site.? I downloaded it.? It looks good and is free.? Check it out.

I bookmarked this one. I'll check it out sometime. I have Blender but am always open to trying new things when I have the time.  :smiley I am impressed with the rendering of people in Daz3d.

Well, not quite free. You have to register an acct to download the software and it is extremely bare-bones,
if you really want to do anything with it, you pay for all the plug-ins and add-ons. But I am going to try it.

The unfortunate thing about it is that, like Poser, it's unable to be used with Hal.

I did this one sometime back when it was discussed on the Hal forum.
Very big downloads.
Found it interesting.
I got the free characters.
Lot to learn in it, will take a lot of time.
I felt I would have to neglect Hal to deal with it and so cut it loose.
Very interesting but no brain and not much fun.

Asfreddy wil tell ya victoria/micheal (from daz also) can be used within daz...and unfortunatly as art pointed art these cannot be used in Hal...
