I found this one as well although it's open source it hasn't been fully completed but the character looks good to use once again experts take a look

Yep,

This program has been out for many years and for reasons unknown, never really caught on.

Haptek produces far greater results / characters, IMO.

I did not notice a provision for allowing those characters in MakeHuman to be made interactive.

It's just that a lot of us have been dabbling in graphics for many years and we've seen many attempts
at character creation.

Keep digging...it's all fun!

Thanks, I don't think I have seen the Apollo Maximus before, it looks like you can get a lot of free stuff for him, very professional looking too - one to check out I agree.

I've played with GMAX in the past, it's like a thinned out 3DSMAX.  I remember writing some code for it so I could export to Haptek compatible files, but I don't think I got very far with that in the end.  I didn't like the interface and found it hard to model with compared to Blender.  Still it's probably useful, we just need to figure out for what !

Apollo Maximus uses / based on Poser characters and uses Poser / Daz3D.

I knew Anton from many years ago in the Poser online community.
