My First Experience Daz Studio
« on: December 05, 2010, 08:01:16 pm »
Here is for a long time, I see, Studio Daz, Now, I make the download of Studio Daz, But I do not know functioning a lot, I think that Virtual Human being, are much more improved, that other programs!! They have the phantasm of the real Human being! I have experience, animation, since Iclone, and, I think with Daz Studio, it must be similar. Also, I hope that Daz, is compatible Vista, it is a bit adventure, I make experience. :)

Alway the generosity, of software! It is cool from the creator.

I don't use Daz Studio as often as I use Bryce, but I DO find it useful for posing certain character models for my Bryce scenes, from time to time. And you can be fairly certain that if it works in Windows 7, it should work in Vista, too.

Hi Claude,

I have worked with DAZ Studio for over a year off and on.
You can see what I came up with on YouTube:
xxxx://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt5WasUYJcc
So, yes you can save a movie in AVI and post it on YouTube.
You will end up wasting a lot of time and money if you do not get good guidance, which I did not get.
I will help you if I can get some help turning my DAZ Girlfriend into a lip sync chatbot.
I do not see any way to add a chatbot engine to DAZ or Poser, but I would give a date with my V.Girlfriend if I could learn how!

Ciao Bro;  Gordon

Hi, gordon, and welcome!

I, too, have used Daz Studio for a while now, and I enjoy using it, when time permits. I know that there are some fairly sophisticated plugins for DS that handle lip syncing, but all that they do is allow you to pose and morph your model for rendering into a movie (AVI, etc.), and let's face it; the render engine for DS is WAY too slow to be of any use for your needs. What is needed is a dedicated 3D "Gaming Quality" rendering engine that uses the IK chain (bones) and morph targets of the DS model files, and I'm not 100% certain that such a thing exists. If one did, and I found out about it, I'd probably sell my kids to get it. :) Well, the mean one, at least.

Best of luck in finding what you're looking for. I'd be interested in anything you come up with.

I recently learned that there's a plugin (I think - it may be a stand alone app, as well) for Daz Studio, called Figure Setup Tools, and I think it may just be what I'm looking for, to make Morti posable. I've tried time and again in DS to add bones, but so far, the learning curve has bested me. After the first of the year, I think I'll see about buying it, since it's fairly inexpensive (about $30US), and give it a go. I'd dearly love to have more options available to me for bringing Morti to life.

Dear, GeekCaveCreations. Here is I am now thrown for Daz. I discovered that Daz works with a model of foundation, in most cases, it is necessary to respect versions absolutely. Nowadays, me makes the complete update of Daz, it has a tremendous number of element it free. Daz makes an export towards ' secondLife, or Video, with Render. Clothing, is very numerous, but it is necessary to respect version 3, version 4, owes absolutely this constituting of version BASIC, otherwise, it will not work. I have find a program for create skins, making-up etc. On Website German, it has a lot of application it, is free or, buy, I also have an account, with renderosity, " to be careful on versions ", I have find news gesture free, and of decors, also of houses, and of plants, he has a multitude it of products as Daz. It is possible to work in export for Bryce, and for other software, Daz, job with Jasc, what is tremendous for skins, and face. etc! My god!! It is very a lot of occupation for Daz. Here is my first makes out a will with Daz, rather intuitive. :)
