Realistic 3D characters

I found several of these last night and thought they might be worth sharing.
IMHO, they are pretty good even if some might be a couple years old.

Just one word: "WOW!". And thanks, Art.  8)

(I know, someone wrote: "In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!")  ;)

The last one makes me crazy. But I will need a new computer. :(

That’s the kind of realistic technology we want to see and be able to use with our chat bots.

The Gravity Design one (2nd video) is designed to run on a PC, but I have a feeling the others are still too much rendering even for a modern computer with a powerful graphics card.

Nice selection.  Emily I think is the best and then the last one '3D Girl' was very good too.   I think it will be a while before we see this in our desktop applications too.

I actually sent and received an email from the people at Gravity Designs. I forwarded it to Robert as Zabaware and haven't heard any mention from him of them since. Go figure.

The GD people said they haven't thought of the chatbot / avatar / assistant market yet but they'd certainly be willing to listen and entertain the idea. (that's when I turned things over to Robert).
 ???
Don't know...can't say.

So we have come full circle in a way.

This one does run on a PC and does look very realistic.

Video not made by me

If only Zaba would keep us all up-to-date on a regular basis too, I think its called customer care.

Oh! the politics of it all.

I saw something similar to the video mentioned many years ago, liked the animation better than this one, thought she was cute.  I'd really have to use the new character for a while and see the capablities before switching.  Advertizing departments always make it the best thing to ever happen.
Rob M. is also working on" Also in my plans is to make versions of Hal for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Linux".
