Title: 3D head / face modelling

Go to Youtube and search for 3D character animation, Characters, 3D lifelike characters, etc.

I particularly liked this one which uses the preferred polygon based modeling method.
Watch it through to the end and you'll see the lifelike face in the render...nicely done!

Almost makes me want to get back into my 3D programs once again.

I also liked this one showing the finer art (no pun) of illustration. Again...very nicely done!

Yes nice find.  They make it look easy don't they  :D

I think you should get back in to modelling Art, it's a great pass-time :)
