Thanks mate.  Actually now you mention it I need some tutorials on text effects.  I tried to outline some text using the 'stroke' command but wasn't really impressed with the results so far.  I'm trying to make a logo and I want it to be clearly defined.  Maybe I need to find some better fonts though.

Also on text effects - I am looking for how to do gradients and how to make a reflection like in the logo here.

Are 'Layer Styles' another name for effects ?  I see effects in the right panel but no satin...

Never mind I think I figured that out.  I'm not sure if I can do some of those things with just Elements.  I did make some pretty cool light effects though.
