Cool news :)  If Terragen can export in OBJ format then I can pull it into DS or Poser 8 too then.  That pleases me no end.  I do have a terrain module I bought for P8 which I used for this picture :

But it's a static thing, you can't actually generate a terrain.  Having said that there are plenty of configurations you can use on it.  I think I like the freedom Terragen should offer though.

I don't think rigging your character will be too hard and once it's done you could have a lot of fun with him.  I did try rigging bones to a character in Blender once and it wasn't too bad.  I am sure if you hop over to the Daz site you could find a tutorial.

Being the noob here, you know what noobs are good for...they drag up all the old stuff because it's new to them.

Thanks, been a while since I did any of this, I had a course to do in the meantime, but I will get back to it some time.

Also don't worry about digging up old posts, we do that here and sometimes there is still some mileage in old topics.
