This is my finished result....though still thinking might be beter if he is 'holding' the glass orb?

  I liked this very much,  for me the wings were nice ( helps me escape reality) ,  The details of facial hair and the details of the feathers help to remove the feeling of perfection I often get from some creations.

That's nice   I was looking for a way to add effects like that to my pictures too - have you got a tutorial by any chance ?  I did follow one but it soon lost me.

Only thing I would change is maybe make him look at the orb.  He's kinda staring into nowhere, but maybe you wont see that if it becomes a small avatar.

  I just recieved an ad from Poser, $129 for Poser 8.  After reading this I know what the program will do.  I think I like Hapteks approach,  you set the lighting, put in a background,  put in the clothing and you're ready to go instead of frame by frame.
  I may have missed something correct me if I am wrong.
