Gamer,

Just a thought...
Would it be possible to add a little motion blur to her wings since she appears to be hovering?

Nice!

Though I'm sure it wasn't done with Poser and certainly not Haptek,
it's a pretty nicely done video of a dancing, digital girl!

Methinks it was done via Max, Maya or Lightwave.

is that a real girl or is it a poser girl. i am sure  it was not haptek unless someone has a new mesh body we don't know about.?~~alady

I thought the movements were amazing, just the fingers moving was great, and looked pretty realistic.  I started wondering if it was real or not, but then I saw her arm go through the feathers just like a haptek.  I started thinking some of the movements may have been standardized into the figure as some hapteks are also.  Maybe they just made their own figure.  I tried doing a search on the authoring, and found this http://amfilms.hash.com/search/entry.php?entry=911     A bit clearer rendition, though. The top banner says they use Animation:Master, but in the article it says motion capture by Motion Analysis Studio.  I've heard about that where using live people on film, they input data points into a computer and use modelling for lifelike movements.  They also have results from some past contests, looks like someone here could win quite easily, last years winner wasn't that good.

But some of the competition is pretty tough:

I found the same thing, Animation Master looks really good, I think I will buy it.

I found he was using motioncapture too, otherwise known as .bhv files, you can find free ones on the net to experiment with.  I had some running around in Blender of a ballerina - minus skin.  Haptek models can use motion capture too by the way.

Cool stuff :)

:smiley   I have discovered that the FireFly Renderer built into Poser 5 does not
handle Poser 4 or Poser Pro structural elements very well. This was the result of
running a render through FireFly that was made up of props from Poser 4, 5 & Pro.
Take a good look and tell me what you see as being amiss.  :evil  Top picture.

Something I did just for laughs.  :crazy2 Bottom picture.

Aside from the misplaced cloth looking piece hanging down on the front of her (shorts),

It appears that the columns have or were constructed with reversed normals and appear
collapsed inward.
Try a different set or type of column and see what happens or does this happen regardless?

Actually Art,  I tried 3 different sets of columns using 6 different render settings in FireFly
and they came out the same every time. So I can only assume that it is a fault somewhere
in the scripting for the FireFly renderer, no such problem occurs when the older Poser 4
renderer application is used. I have no idea whether or not this problem remains in the up-
dated FireFly rendering application built into Poser 6.   :huh  :buck2

:afro Thanks for the offer Marius. I solved the FireFly settings problem for them.
However you are more than welcome to test them, especially if you were going
to test them in Poser 6. So that others on here might have a more up to date
piece of information to guide them. As for Poser 5 & its FireFly component, here
is an example with a list of relevent render settings, along with a corrected and
finished render of the above composition.  :grin  The structural building elements
are from the DAZ Gothic Construction kit Poser Pro version, but with the stone
textures altered.  :smiley
