I would estimate the artist was around 5 yrs old.

The writing is a dead give away... but definitely no older than 7 yrs.

 In psychology this is pinning. keeping child like behavior into adult hood.  A traumatic events or events at child hood pins there
their psychology or part of it and drags it into adult hood. Look like some one got pinned to around 5 or 7?
