It's a pity Haptek is dead?
So much could have been done shown by this video?
If only we had the resources??????

Agreed! It's a shame there couldn't have been a better compromise with regard to polygons vs smooth animation.

One cool feature about Haptek was that one could create so many (virtually unlimited) characters! I think there were quite a lot of user markets for it other than just UltraHal.

Perhaps something will come to light after the dust of disappointment clears.

In my opinion the next best thing is iClone as far as looks, customization, props, etc. If it could only be configured to LipSync and Animate with UltraHal and others.
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
