Sorry but I failed to see Bender, Leela, Fry, Amy or Zoidberg anywhere! And where was Nixon? ;)

In theory, this robot head in a bottle should be programmable

(unless I missed something).   So, I plan to demo this here, soon.

Thanks for your comments!

You logic escapes me. Why should a robot head in a bottle be programmable at all? Wirelessly?

If it is your robot head, why then have it in a bottle in the first place? Hardly a place for even a robot head don't you think?

Robots have feelings too you know. I'm betting you'll be hearing from the Robot Rights Registry soon!

Seriously, looking forward to your demo!

Presently, it is embedded programmable, generating random visemes for pre-lipsync testing.  The purpsose of this proof of concept platform is to support options such as, voice recognition, wireless communication, etc.

If it is your robot head, why then have it in a bottle in the first place?
Slight damage, and repair, to the lower lips, is from disassembling and reassembling this prototype so many times.  The bottle protects all the mechanical parts situated inside.

Hardly a place for even a robot head don't you think?
People can safely pick up the robot head in a bottle (not only safe for people, but safe for the robot head) and hold it in their hands for close inspection as it mechanically generates visemes (lip postures).   The responses to it are positive, so far.  Eventually, hopefully soon, it will synthesize speech, while being held.

Robots have feelings too you know. I'm betting you'll be hearing from the Robot Rights Registry soon!
Good feedback, kidding or otherwise, this is useful... Yes, you make a good point. That is why the plan is for this prototype to have a male voice synthesis, so it may chat with the earlier prototype robot head, which has a female voice synthesis.

Seriously, looking forward to your demo!

Yes.  It is in the works now, being calibrated, etc.   And, it is going well, so far. Thanks for your precious feedback and interesting questions.
