Hmm, sounds a bit far fetched to me. My politics go all over the place as I don't align myself with a particular party, how could it be possibly tied to the way my face looks ?
If a woman changes her make-up from one day to the next are they also shifting political alignment ?
And when people lose and gain weight their faces change a great deal.
Smells a bit whiffy to me !
Voters have a right to keep their political beliefs private. But according to some researchers, it won’t be long before a computer program can accurately guess whether people are liberal or conservative in an instant. All that will be needed are photos of their faces.

Generally, I regard phrases as "won't be long before" as good indicators of utter dribble. I suppose this is trying to ride the wave of recent research in gender recognition from facial features, which at least made some sense from a biological perspective. The only time one can tell political alignment from photos is when you take the photo just after asking a politically loaded question.
Some people on Quora say that you can recognise a person with a high IQ by the alert and active look in their eyes, but I think people who say that are dumb.
